Using any hardware or software that is incompatible with Windows 10 can result in unstable performance even with a compatible DAW, like SONAR Platinum. If you are considering upgrading to Windows 10, first ensure that your DAW, plug-ins and hardware drivers are all compatible with this OS. If you get below output, it means sonar-scanner is working.
